Bar Transfer Test (BTT)

The Bar Transfer Test (BTT) allows qualified lawyers, including solicitors, legal academics, and lawyers from other jurisdictions, to qualify as barristers in England and Wales. The BTT assesses a candidate’s knowledge in several key areas such as Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, and Professional Ethics. Depending on prior experience and qualifications, some candidates may be exempt from parts of the test.

At Grace Law Academy, we offer a focused preparatory course for advocates aiming to transfer to the Bar of England and Wales. Our course consists of 25 classes, where we cover essential legal knowledge in Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, and Professional Ethics. The program is designed to provide comprehensive notes, expert guidance, and a strategic overview, ensuring that candidates are well-prepared to successfully pass the BTT. This preparation is crucial, as the test requires a deep understanding of English legal principles, procedural rules, and professional standards, similar to what is expected of barristers practicing in England and Wales.

By completing our program, candidates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the BTT, giving them a solid foundation for their legal career in the UK.
